Turkey reveals volume of cargo transshipment via Turkish port in Antalya province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 21

In January 2020, cargo transshipment through the Turkish port in the province of Antalya amounted to 297,737 tons, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Feb. 21.

According to the ministry, the volume of cargo transshipment through the port of Antalya province by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted 27,200 tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries - 270,537 tons.

In January 2020, cargo transit through the port of Antalya province was not carried out.

In this month, the volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to 32.9 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.4 million tons.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flag of other countries amounted to 30.5 million tons.

In January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo transshipment was carried out through Turkish ports.
