Turkish ministry on amount of aviation fuel transported via Turkey's ports

As much as 180,563 tons of aviation fuel were transported through Turkey's ports in January 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
The entire volume of the aviation fuel was transported by ships flying flags of other countries.
There was no aviation fuel transported in transit through Turkish ports in the reported month.
The total cargo transshipment through ports of Turkey exceeded 32.9 million tons in January 2020.
Cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.4 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying flags of their country of origin amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while the vessels flying flags of other countries carried just over 29 million tons of cargo.
In total, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through Turkish ports.
