Turkey will invest over 14.3 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion) in the mining industry during 2021, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey told Trend.
As the ministry noted, by the end of 2021, 46 projects in the mining industry will be implemented in Turkey.
"For the implementation of these projects, an external loan of over 6.8 billion liras ($812.4 million) will be allocated," the ministry said.
In 2020, over 6.75 billion liras ($806.4 million) were spent on the implementation of projects in the mining industry in Turkey, 3 billion of which were attracted through external loans.
