The ports of Turkey totally have handled 4,918 tractors in the first six months of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, during the reporting period, ships have delivered 107 tractors to Turkish ports.
"From January through June 2021, 4,811 tractors were sent from the ports of Turkey," the ministry said.
Totally, in the first half of this year the ports handled over 1.04 million vehicles.
Ro-Ro vessels delivered 413,787 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Besides, 629,317 vehicles were dispatched from Turkish ports by Ro-Ro vessels.
The ministry noted that in June this year the ports handled 173,989 vehicles in total. Meanwhile, Ro-Ro vessels delivered 80,364 vehicles to Turkish ports. At the same time, 93,625 vehicles were sent from the ports.
