BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. The number of trips of Turkish citizens to Georgia for employment decreased by more than a half from January through February 2022, the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) told Trend.
According to the message, the number of Turkish citizens who visited Georgia through ISKUR decreased by 56.3 percent compared to the period from January through February 2021 up to 14.
A total of 2,397 Turkish citizens traveled abroad via ISKUR from January through February 2022, which is 48.1 percent more compared to the period from January through February 2021.
Some 86,595 Turkish citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in February 2022. At the same time, 99.6 percent of applicants found jobs in the private sector.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed in Turkey reached 3.2 million people from January through February 2022, 49.8 percent of them were women and 50.2 percent were men.
Around 87,681 Turkish citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in 2021, 58.7 percent of them were men and 41.3 percent were women. Some 98.9 percent of job seekers found jobs in the private sector.
The number of unemployed in Turkey reached 3.2 million people in 2021, 49.8 percent of them were women and 50.2 percent were men.
