BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. A total of 31 companies with Chinese capital were registered in Türkiye from January through May 2022, up by 8 companies compared to the same period of 2021, the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
In the reporting period, the total capital of registered Chinese companies in Türkiye amounted to 71.5 million Turkish liras ($4.2 million), while in the same period of 2021, this figure was 21.6 million Turkish liras ($1.27 million).
During this time, 25 companies with Chinese capital were listed in Istanbul with 4.4 million Turkish liras ($260,566) of overall capital.
Out of the total number of registered companies, 17 companies are involved in wholesale and retail trade, and two – in real estate. The remaining companies operate in other sectors of Turkish economy.
