By Elmira Tariverdiyeva - Trend:
The U.S. company Frontera has refuted information about the termination of gas production in Georgia, which was reported by the media a few days ago.
Previously, Director of the Oil and Gas Agency of Georgian Energy Ministry Giorgi Tatishvili said the U.S.-based company Frontera has unexpectedly ceased gas production in Georgia.
However, the company's representatives strongly denied this information in a letter to Trend. They said this information is incorrect.
Gas production was launched in June, and Frontera declared about large gas reserves. Here the matter rests in about 42 billion cubic meters of gas.
