The electricity supply throughout Georgia was completely restored on July 28, the country's Energy Ministry told Trend.
Almost the entire territory of Georgia was de-energized on July 27, at 22:30. The accident on the Imereti and Kolkheti-2 power transmission lines caused the power outage.
The cause of the accident is being studied.
Hundreds of passengers that got stranded in the Tbilisi subway, were taken out and due to the disruption in the power supply, trains arrived at their destination three hours late.
