Iran’s non-oil exports hits $35B in 10 months

Iran's non-oil exports (including condensates) surpassed $35.613 billion during the first ten months of current fiscal year (started March 2015), indicating a fall by 16 percent compared to the same period of the preceding year.

Iran exported some 76.73 million tons of non-oil goods during that period which is nine percent less compared with the first ten months of preceding fiscal year, said the latest statistics released by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI).

Petroleum gases and liquefied gas hydrocarbons worth $1.402 billion, liquefied propane worth $1.217 billion, tar worth $1.17 billion, steel and iron products worth $978 million and grid polyethylene film worth $902 million topped the list of Iran 's exported non-oil goods.

The average price for each ton of Iran's non-oil goods in the mentioned period was around $474, which is 6.5 percent more than in the previous year.

China ($5.679 billion), Iraq (with $5 billion), the UAE (with $4.174 billion), India ($2.16 billion) and Afghanistan (with $2.141 billion) were top five biggest importers of Iranian goods.

The mentioned five countries imported 64 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports in terms of value in the first ten months of the current Iranian fiscal year.
