Turkish police dispersed an illegal demonstration in Taksim Square in Istanbul, Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday.
Group of demonstrators, consisting of 50-60 people, was dispersed by police using water cannons, said in report.
After demonstration 70 people were detained by law enforcement.
Some groups of demonstrators held protest in Ankara and Edirne, which were dispersed by police.
