Ambulance and first aid cars in Baku are equipped with mobile devices for reading information from 'health e-cards', Director of the Health Informatization Centre, of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Jabrail Asadzadeh told Trend.
According to Asadzadeh, the devices are currently installed and used in several cars in test mode. Until the end of the year, all ambulance and first aid cars in Baku will be equipped with these devices.
The Health Informatization Centre has developed a software module providing integration of mobile devices with the central database, as well as whilst offline.
Successful implementation of the project will serve its further expansion in the regions of Azerbaijan.
Automation of the medical registration process will simplify the search of relevant information and reduce the time for diagnosing patients.
