Over the last 5 days the water rate in the Kura River daily rises. In the winter concern of the people living in the riverside regions Salyan and Neftchala grow in relation to intensiveness of precipitation, Trend reports. Specialists said that working regime of the Mingachevir Hydro Power Station was intensified that caused increase of the water issued to the Kura River from reservoirs.
It should be mentioned that 20bn manats damage was caused to the residents of Salyan over the last years.
4.5bn manats damage was caused to the agriculture of the riverside regions. Though 860 families suffered from the disaster have received 1,700bn manats compensation, tens of families still wait for the state aid.
