UN Childrens Fund has launched training sessions against the bird flu virus in Salyan. After the two-day training which is to be held in the Central Hospital of the Salyan District by three representatives of the Fund, trained physicians will be divided into three groups and will be sent out to villages in the region. The main goal of the training is to instruct the local population on the dangers and protection from the dangerous bird flu virus.
The next training session will be held by the UN Childrens Fund to be held in Lankaran on August 17.
It should be noted that three out of the total five persons killed by bird flu were residences of the village in the Salyan District.
