Baku is an incredible city, African fan Ambaz Mombonikano, who came to the first European Games in Baku, told Trend June 23.
"It is my first time in Baku," he said, adding that Azerbaijan is a very nice country.
"Your food is very fantastic, your people are very friendly," said the African fan, adding that he especially liked kebab.
He went on to add that he wasn't at the opening ceremony of the Games but probably would be at the closing ceremony.
Baku has a really fantastic Olympic Stadium, he said.
He said that he found information about the European Games online and decided to come.
"When I come back, I'll remember these fantastic European Games," he said.
The European Games kicked off in Baku June 12 and will last till June 28. There are a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports.
More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe came to Baku to represent their nations over 17 days of competition. Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
