The Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group has began treating their tasks very seriously, Aydin Mirzazadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Security and Defense Issues Permanent Commission of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan`s Parliament), a member of the Political Council of the ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan (New Azerbaijan) Aydin Mirzazade told Trend
He pointed out that OSCE Co-Chairmen`s visits to the region has intensified. The consequent character of OSCE Minsk Group`s mediators` visits, periodical introduction of the issues being discussed to the agenda, as well as objective aspects` increasing give grounds to claim that the things are heading toward the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, stated Mr. Mirzazadeh.
He stressed that the policy of the official Armenian authorities taking the radical position in this issue is quite understandable, since they came to power just on the wave of radicalism and nationalism. According to Mr. Mirzazadeh, if the radical position of the existing Armenian authorities does not meet the interests of Armenian people, then the Armenian society will express its opinion in the forthcoming elections differently.
