Letter bomb in Czech Republic kills one, injures one
A man was killed on Wednesday after a letter bomb exploded in the lobby of a swimming pool manufacturing company in a small village near the Czech capital, Prague, dpa reported.
A woman was severely injured in the blast, sustaining wounds to her stomach, legs and chest, as well as burns to her face, a spokeswoman for the ambulance service confirmed.
After being airlifted from the site by helicopter, the woman was taken to a hospital in Prague. She remains in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the explosion, which took place in the 350-resident village of Orlov, remain unclear.
