BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 28. A 5.9-magnitude earthquake has shaken Iran, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said on Saturday, Trend reports.
The epicenter of the quake was located 8 km southwest of the city of Khoy. The seismic center was located at a depth of 15 km.
There have been no reports about victims or possible damages.
This earthquake was also felt in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
