Mazahir Aliyev, 52, the vice head of the Criminal Research Division of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry, was found dead at his apartment in 79 Khoiskiy St. of Baku on Wednesday morning, Trend reports.
The Narimanov Police Precinct was informed on the happened on Wednesday at 10.30am. The experts found the dead body with fire injuries on head. As of initial data, the fire was opened from a Winchester and it is a suicide.
Upon the urgent investigation operation in the scene of incident at 13.30pm the dead-body was sent to the forensic examination division of Narimanov district of Baku.
Arriving in the scene of incident the head of the Central Police Department of Baku, Maherram Aliyev, refused to give any commentary on the happened.
