The investigator of the Prosecutor Office of Tovuz district of Azerbaijan, Fuad Musayev, informed Trend that no people died and injured in result of the oil train crash, which was going from Baku to Georgia, near the Govlar Station of Tovuz District, and therefore, no criminal case has been filed.
Musayev said that presently the employees of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources are involved in the clean-up of the land.
Technical equipment have been installed in the territory, and it is possible to say that most of the oil-polluted territory has been cleaned up.
In result of the accident trains #25, 26 and 27 ran off the rails. 30 tons of oil overflowed.
