Azerbaijan, Ganja / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / The Ganja Prosecutor reported on 18 June that Shain Mammadtagioglu Jafarov 46, committed suicide by hanging himself in the yard of his house, on 33 Iskandarov Street on 17 June at 10:50.
The Prosecutor is investigating the case. The criminal case has not been filed yet.
Jafarov was an inspector for the Ganja Department of State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan and was the son of Mammadtagi Jafarov, an Academic, Rector of the Azerbaijani Agricultural Academy and president of the Azerbaijani Intelligence Society.
Mammadtagi Jafarov died of a heart attack on the scene.
