Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Alizade / Four workers injured as a result of the collapse of a 16-storey building in Baku have been hospitalized at Musa Nagiyev First Medical Aid Hospital.
A Trend correspondent reported from the hospital that Avez Akhundov, 24, from the village of Arkivan of the district of Astara, sustained a head injury and the same diagnosis was for Ramin Nazarov, from the same village. Rauf Aliyev was rushed to the hospital with several injuries.
One other worker, (name is not disclosed) was released from hospital after he received treatment.
The 16-storey building being constructed at 25, Mammad Nakhchivani Street in Baku collapsed on 28 August.
Asgar Aliyev, the head of the company, was arrested for contravening Article 222 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan (violation of safety regulations during construction and site work).
The head of the Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies are presently at the scene of incident.
