Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. E.Huseynli / Absence of organizational functioning is one of the main reason for passive activity of the Consultative Assembly uniting governmental parties, Mammad Alizadeh, the chairman of the Assembly, said to the Trend Agency on 29 September.
The parties of the Consultative Assembly should have a serious social base, Alizadeh said.
The Consultative Assembly unites 10 governmental parties.
The Assembly will start activity and nominate the candidature of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as soon as campaign of the presidential elections 2008 started, Alizadeh said.
