The Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA), the Liberal Party of Azerbaijan (LPA), the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) and the Musavat party refused from participation in the meeting to discuss reforming of the election legislation. They protested against the expanded format of the event.
According to Ahmadov, the parties should have attended the discussions at leas in order to be aware of the suggestions of the opposite side. "That was a dishonest step. But it changed nothing, just 4 participants less participated in the event," he said.
