Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / Banned hunting birds have been found in Baku.
The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said that on 9 December, a Gasel vehicle driven by Taleh Gajiyev, a resident Bina settlement, was inspected at the Garadagh State Police Department. Nearly 70 birds which were shot by Dervish Fajz Akhmad, a Russian citizen, were found and confiscated.
The State Veterinary Service of Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry has banned hunting birds since 2005 to prevent the 'bird flu'.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
