Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend E. Huseynli/ Military units in Azerbaijan have been transferred to a special regime because of bad weather conditions.
As a result of bad weather conditions and low temperatures, military units have been given certain instructions for soldiers' security, a source at Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense said to Trend.
The temperatures in Azerbaijan have dropped sharply. The height of the snow in southern and northern regions of Azerbaijan has reached half a meter. There is foggy and snowy weather in Baku. The traffic in Baku has become paralyzed because of icy roads.
Weather forecasters say that the unstable weather conditions will last for several more days.
The Ministry of Defense press service denied concretizing the details of the instructions given to military units.
