Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 May /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Opposition Musavat Party may hold unofficial protest rally, the head of Central Executive Administration of Musavat Party, Arif Hajili said.
In its appeal to Baku City Executive Power, the party offered to hold the rally on 4 May in Ukraine square and Narinmanov Cinema. However, the Executive Power has suggested stadium in Bibiheybat settlement for the protest rally.
Musavat has postponed the rally, arguing that the stadium in Bibiheybat is not available for this.
Hajili said that the party will bring the Executive Power to court. "In addition, we will send a new appeal to the Executive Power," he said.
"If Government's actions restricting the freedom of assembly will still continue, the issue of unofficial demonstration will be urgent. Therefore, the unofficial demonstration is not excluded for the near future," he said.
