Opposition Christian-Democrat party member Georgi Targamadze said there was nothing new in Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's speech.

"There was nothing new in the initiatives sounded by the president," Targamadze said.

Opposition Powerful Georgia fraction leader Giya Tortladze urged opposition parties against helping Russia portray Georgia as an aggressor.

"The aggressor should never receive our support. It is a foolish question who shot first when our territory is under occupation," he said.

Tortladze said an analytical center should be formed to combat Russian propaganda. He added that the Prosecutor General's Office should file a lawsuit against Eduard Kokoyte and Sergey Bagapsh.

"We must announce an international search via Interpol," he said.
