Speaker of Majlis (Parliament) Ural Muhamedzhanov received Iranian Ambassador in Kazakhstan Ramin Mehmanparasta - at his request - due to completion of his diplomatic missions in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Majilis reported.
"Speaker of the House of Parliament, stressing the importance of this spring visit of the Iranian president to Kazakhstan, summits in the parliament, as well as achievements of the host agreement, said that all of these have been achieved by activities of Iranian ambassador in Kazakhstan", the press service said.
"We believe you are a friend of Kazakhstan", the speaker said.
In turn, the Iranian diplomat said: "I'm pleased that during my work in Kazakhstan, the relations between our two countries have developed. This will facilitate cooperation in the region as a whole. In the future we, and others, can become strategic partners.
According to him, the important role has played visits of presidents, which greatly strengthened the contacts between the two nations. "I see Kazakhstan as my second country with wonderful people and a good atmosphere" Ramin Mehmanparasta said.
