The U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan announced a program of joint TV projects with Uzbek national, regional and private TV stations.
TV Co-op projects will enable Uzbek television stations to send a reporter and a cameraman for two weeks to the U.S. to produce an original TV story and news on jointly planned themes.
In order to participate in the project, TV stations should send their proposals until March 1. Creative teams should specify the questions to which they want to find answers in the U.S.
Previous TV Co-ops were dedicated to the following topics: international terrorism, supremacy of law, agriculture, law enforcement agency activities, Muslim life in America, immigration and border issues, international adoption, judicial system, issues of environmental protection, combating drug trafficking, small business development.
TV groups selected to participate in the project will receive tickets for domestic flights, hotel and meals, temporary health insurance and various producer costs. Group should carry with them their own well-functioning equipment, which includes a professional camera, tripod, lighting, microphone and video tapes.
