Criminals committed the murder in Sumgait last week have not been identified yet.
Currently, the operational-search measures are continuing, senior investigator of Sumgayit prosecutor's office Emil Mirzoyev told Trend .
On Saturday, at 07:45 a.m., two criminals killed Vugar Balayev, 25, by pistol "Makarov". His father, Ismail Balayev, 53, resisted criminals and injured his leg.
According to Mirzoyev, the criminal case was filed on article 120 (murder) and 228.1 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, possession, transportation or carrying of firearms, component parts, ammunition (other than smooth-bore hunting weapons and ammunition), explosives or explosive devices) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation is underway.
