Romania supports Kazakhstan's OSCE presidency, as well as Astana's foreign policy initiatives, including the initiative to convene an OSCE summit in Kazakhstan's capital, Romanian President Traian Basescu said at a meeting with the Chairman of Parliament Ural Mukhamedzhanov.
The Romanian president called for the intensification of bilateral relations, including inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Basescu stressed that his country will strengthen the partnership between the European Union and Kazakhstan.
Also, the Romanian president signed the parliament book for honorary guests.
