Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Nalbandov met with Štefan Füle European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy.
The meeting discussed events in Georgia, preparation for forthcoming local elections, situation in the occupied territories, EU monitoring mission importance in Georgia's security and necessity of fulfilling its mandate in full, the Foreign Ministry told Trend.
The meeting focused on priority issues of relations with the EU and importance of the "Eastern Partnership" initiative in terms of deepening the integration of Georgia into the EU.
