Deputy Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross' (ICRC) Regional Delegation in Central Asia Francois Blancy is on a working visit to Turkmenistan.
Blancy held a series of meetings at several ministries and departments, the Turkmen government reported.
Blanes was received at the Foreign Ministry, as well as at two agencies operating under the Turkmen President - National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights and the Public Service Academy.
"The meetings exchanged views on the capacity of positive cooperation with the biggest international organization," the source reported.
The ICRC coordinates the efforts of the international Red Cross Movement and Red Crescent Societies to provide humanitarian assistance and inform about the international humanitarian law.
