Georgia will develop a small, highly professional army, Georgian Defense Minister Bacho Akhalaya said today.
The ministry plans to create a small, professional army stocked with only highly trained personnel, which is fitting for a country of Georgia's size, he stressed.
"The ministry will begin to increase the army's standards step-by-step to prepare a highly skilled individual and command group," Akhalaia said.
