Georgian parliament speaker David Bakradze condolences to the families of those killed and injured, but believes that inaction of the authorities could bring far more harms.

The clashes between the opposition and law-enforcement agencies of Georgia on the night of May 26 killed two people.

According to Bakradze, the Georgian government and leadership will not allow the country to go back to the 90 years to a situation ruled by such people as Temur Hachishvili and Gia Uchava.

"These people have brought misery to tens of thousands of families, and the duty of the Georgian leadership is to prevent the country's return to the past, to those terrible years. I'm very sorry and express my condolences to the families of those killed and injured. But everyone should understand that the inaction of the authorities could bring much greater harms to the country," said Bakradze.

He said what happened during those days, and all the evidence that have been submitted, confirmed that there were serious plans for the return of Georgia to the past.
