Muslims worldwide must help to free Bahrain, Iranian Guardian Council Chairman, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati was quoted by Fars as saying.
He criticized the crimes committed by the government of Bahrain, troops of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He added that U.S. forces in the form of the Saudi Arabian military commit crimes against Muslims, so Muslims worldwide must come together to help liberate Bahrain and create an Islamic government.

Official representatives of Bahrain appealed to the GCC member countries with a request to send additional forces to deal with protesters. After that several countries, including Saudi Arabia, sent a hundreds of soldiers to Bahrain.
