Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Chairman Aydin Aliyev and Israeli Ambassador Michael Lavon Lotem have signed an agreement on mutual customs assistance after a meeting on Dec. 16.
The customs bodies have the task to enhance the cooperation between the two countries, Aliyev said. He also pointed out the importance of interaction and exchange of experience in enhancing cooperation between the customs bodies of both countries.
The State Customs Committee is interested in expanding cooperation with the Israeli Department of Customs, Aliyev said. He expressed confidence that the signed agreement will boost the development of relations between the customs bodies of both countries.
