The ruling New Azerbaijan Party published its proposals on the bill "Political parties".
The main thing is for political parties to cover the entire country by its activity, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party Siyavush Novruzov told Trend today.
"A political party must collect signatures in at least 50 constituencies, while the number of signers in each county must be at least 100 people," he said. "Thus, the party's activity will cover whole Azerbaijan."
He said that for example, there is a certain quota to collect signatures in Ukraine while creating the political parties.
"Otherwise, about 5,000 signatures can be collected in a village," Novruzov said.
The current law "Political parties" was adopted in 1992. Moreover, it was proposed to collect at least 5,000 signatures to create a party.
