Georgian delegation to attend OSCE PA

A delegation of the Georgian Parliament will attend the OSCE PA winter session which will be held in Vienna on Feb. 23-24.
Head of the Georgian parliamentary delegation in the OSCE PA Gigi Tsereteli said discussions in Vienna will touch upon a number of important issues, including protection of human rights in the OSCE member countries, media freedom, prison reform, and others.
Issues of Sergei Magnitsky, Yulia Tymoshenko and the political prisoner Andrei Sannikov will be also considered. The discussion will touch upon elections held in Russia, on which the OSCE Observation Mission Report will be presented.
"We will pay particular attention to the situation in the occupied territories, the destruction of cultural heritage, the restriction of the right to education and non-fulfillment of the commitments assumed by Russia," Mr Tsereteli said.
