Azerbaijan and NATO will hold an evaluation meeting as part of the planning and analysis process (PAP). The meeting will be held in Brussels on June 12, the press service of the Ministry of Defence told Trend on Wednesday.

Baku will host on June 11-15 training courses on "Psychological Operations of NATO in crisis response operations". Courses are organized by the mobile training team of NATO allied joint force command.

The cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO was laid on May 4, 1994, after the signing the framework document, Partnership for Peace.

In April 1996, an official document was signed within the Partnership for Peace Programme, identifying specific areas of cooperation between countries of the alliance. Currently, in accordance with this programme, Azerbaijan implements about 50 partner tasks.

On Aug. 3, 2005, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the approval of the Individual Partnership Action Plan between Azerbaijan and NATO.

Now the cooperation is extended to the second phase of the plan.
