On Oct.30 Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation led by Zoran Jivkovic, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Vice-President of Advisory Board of International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (İFİSEM) located in Slovenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting Jivkovic presented the IFISEM's Award for "Positive Personality in the Field of Foreign Policy in the Year 2011" to Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Minister Mammadyarov expressed his gratitude to the organisation. The Minister also underlined that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with Balkan countries in various fields.
