Iranian citizen Hassan Faraji, who was arrested earlier in Baku in front of the Israeli embassy, was released this morning and sent to Iran.
However, he faced problems at the Bilasuvar and Astara border checkpoints, Iranian consul to Baku, Mohsen Moulai told Trend on Friday.
According to Moulai, at the border checkpoint in Bilasuvar, Faraji was sent to the State Migration Service of city of Lankaran to obtain document allowing to cross the border. After obtaining the document, the citizen of Iran arrived at the Astara border checkpoint, from where he was sent to Baku for registration in police department. Currently, Faraji is coming back to Baku .
Iran's embassy representatives will address the problems of Faraji on Saturday", - Moulai said.
Iranian citizen H.Faradji was detained on October 31 in front of the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan for suspicious behavior.
After that he was taken to the police department. Faraji was remanded in custody for 30 days.
