President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received a delegation led by president of the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Debora Serracchiani.
Touching upon cooperation between the countries, President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan was keen to establish close relations with regions of Italy.
The president said Italy is one of the major partners of Azerbaijan in economic sphere. Ilham Aliyev also stressed the prospects for boosting bonds in other areas.
Debora Serracchiani said the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia was determined to expand trade ties with Azerbaijan.
