Today, Azerbaijan is not anyone's competitor and does not compete with any country, even in the field of energy, said in an interview with ANS TV channel Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijani presidential administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department.
Mammadov further said that those, who take Azerbaijan's actions for as competitive, and carry out provocations, try to influence the image and reputation of Azerbaijan.
"They won't achieve that because we are on the right path and we are doing the right things," Mammadov said.
The top official also said that domestic and foreign policies of Azerbaijan for the last 25 years are focused towards sincere, mutual and beneficial cooperation.
"Azerbaijan is a country between East and West, North and South, on the border of Islamic and Christian worlds and is located in the most important point of the world - the South Caucasus," he said.
