AGHDAM, Azerbaijan, December 25. A regular working group meeting on environmental issues is being held in Azerbaijan's Aghdam, Trend reports.
The event held in Aghdam Conference Center was attended by a Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov, employees of various state structures and members of the working group.
After the meeting, the working group members got acquainted with the operation of the construction waste processing facility established in Kangarli village of the Aghdam district.
The guests were informed that the processing facility is in operation due to the increased volumes of construction and demolition waste resulting from activities related to the management of solid household waste, restoration, and reconstruction in the liberated Aghdam district.
As of today, the facility has processed approximately 30,000 tons of construction materials. The resulting material will be used in construction of internal roads in villages and other projects.
This technology is also employed in other liberated territories for the processing of used construction materials.
A working group on environmental issues of the Interdepartmental Center operating under the Coordination Headquarters was established for centralized resolution of issues in the territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation.
