BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14. On June 14, the First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev watched tactical-special exercise held with engineering units, Trend reports.
The modern weapons and equipment at the disposal of the units and subunits of the engineering troops were inspected, the reports of the command staff were heard. The Chief of the General Staff was reported that, the units were withdrawn to assembly areas on alert and brought to combat mode under the plan.
The exercise focused on the implementation of various tasks on engineering support and considered the experience of the Patriotic War, subsequent operations and armed conflicts in different parts of the world.
The Chief of the General Staff positively evaluated the progress of the tactical-special exercise and instructed to further increase the quality of such exercises and hold them under conditions close to real combat.
