BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. A Memorandum of Understanding on joint activities and mutual cooperation has been signed between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and the “Azersilah” Defence Industry Holding” CJSC subordinate to the Ministry of Defense Industry within the ADEX-2024 and Securex Caspian exhibitions, Trend reports via Defense Ministry.
"The memorandum is focused on cooperation between institutions within their authorities and activity spheres to establish and develop mutually beneficial, long-term, effective relations, as well as to organize coordinated activities in this direction," the ministry said.
To note, the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX" is set to take center stage from September 24-26 at the Baku Expo Center, marking the biggest show in town for the defense industry in the region. At the same time, the 14th Exhibition for International Security, Safety, and Rescue Equipment, “Securex Caspian,” is in the works.
The inaugural ADEX exhibition took place in 2014. Even though the biennial exhibition is throwing a party for its 5th anniversary this year, it has been in the game for a decade, steadily widening its net of exhibitors and the fields it encompasses with each passing year.
The exhibition has gathered a cornucopia of companies from over 50 countries, with around 200 official delegations joining the fray over its decade of thriving endeavors. Over the years, the exhibition has seen more than 30,000 guests walk through its doors.
