President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a Decree on 11 August on introducing changes and supplements to the Regulations on Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism, Trend reports.
The changes introduced presuppose elaboration of measures by the Ministry,for implementation of task-oriented targeted programs in the field of development of international and domestic tourism, development of tourism infrastructure and industry, involvement of investments for establishing special tourist areas and services.
Moreover, the Ministry, within its powers should assist in developing, publishing of printing and any other polygraphic products in the field of advertising of tourism products in foreign and domestic markets, as well as involvement foreign investments in the tourism business. Besides, new clauses have been supplemented to the Regulation in regard to the Ministry’s involvement in organization and development of the eco-tourism.
The regulation on the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Tourism of Azerbaijan was approved by the President’s Decree of 18 September 2001.
