Visit of the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Artur Lenk to Guba region is going on. During the one-day visit timed for the Jewish holiday “Hanuka”, the concert was held in Guba, in which the local concert groups and the groups from the Jewish “Sohnut” organization took part, the head of the Israeli Cultural Centre in Baku Rima Barkan told Trend.
After the concert the Ambassador of Israel met with the head of the executive power of Guba district. In the evening of 27 December the Israeli diplomat attended the �Krasnaya Sloboda’ settlement where the Jews reside compactly. Lighting of Hanuka candles is supposed.
The Ambassador will come back in Baku on 28 December. Visiting of other Azerbaijani regions is not scheduled.
