European Commission informed Azeri Foreign Ministry of preliminary date of third tour of conversations for preparation of National Actions Plan within
EUs Neighborhood Policy (ENP), Trend reports quoting Asker Alekperov, Executive Director, TACIS.
Deputy Director of bureau Ruslan Rustamli said national plan usually lasts 3 to 5 years, and it is 5 years for Azerbaijan. He suggested the third tour will end the conversations that started December 16, 2005.
The project financing starts in 2007 and will continue within 2 programs conducted by TACIS and MEDA. ENPs budget for years 2007-2013 is estimated in E 15bn, twice as that for years 2000-2006. These funds are to be distributed among the countries.
Upon coordination of the Actions Plan, indication programs of 2-3 years are developed together with 5 actions programs for each year.
